Getting to Memphis

Memphis is centrally located, and easily accessible by your choice of transportation – car, plane, or train.

By Car:

Located at the intersection of I-55 (from north / south) and I-40 (from east / west), Memphis is easy to reach by car.  And I-69, which will run southwest through Memphis from the Canadian border in Michigan to the Mexican border in Texas, is under construction.  Click here to map your driving route directly to the Marriott Hotel.

By Plane:

Memphis International Airport serves over 10 million passengers annually, and as home to FedEx World Headquarters, it is the world’s busiest air cargo airport.  Memphis is Delta Airlines' third-largest passenger hub, with routes from destinations throughout North America, as well as a daily nonstop flight to/from Amsterdam.  In addition to Delta, Memphis is served by Air Canada, AirTran, American, Continental, United, U.S. Airways, and Seaport Airlines.

By Train:

How about a leisurely train trip to Memphis?  Historic Central Station is a short trolley ride from the Marriott Hotel, and is served twice daily by Amtrak’s famous ‘City of New Orleans’ route.  By connecting through Chicago or New Orleans, you can reach Memphis by train from Amtrak stations throughout the country.  Check routes and schedules at Amtrak.
